I think Reeves is on Steroids in this picture.
It’s been rumored that he used Steroids to help him recover from a shoulder injury that happened on a movie shoot.
He looks bigger and thicker in this picture, as a middle aged man, than he did as a competitive bodybuilder in the late 1940s – when he was clean.
Look at the thickness of Reeve’s arms, forearms, delts and the size of his legs.
This is Reeves at probably 25+ lbs of muscle over his competitive years.
