Simpson, Cher, Ernest Borgnine, George Hamilton, Gary Busey, David Carradine, Clint Eastwood, Clint Walker, Erik Estrada, Michael Landon, Larry Parks, James Garner, Sean Penn, Burt Reynolds, Kurt Russell, John Schneider, Gordon Scott, Tommy Chong, Denzel Washington, James Garner, Brian Keith, and Carl Weathers were a handful of well known entertainers that trained at Vince Gironda’s Gym on Ventura Blvd in Los Angeles, not to mention bodybuilders like Arnold Schwarzenegger, Lou Ferrigno, Body by Jake’s Jake Steinfeld, first Mr. Olympia Larry Scott… The gallery below shows what the property looked like in 2005 both inside and outside. Vince’s Gym closed in November 1995 and Vince Gironda died on October 18, 1997.
