Serge Nubret Biography

Serge Nubret, nicknamed the Black Panther, was born on the 6th of October 1938 in Anse-Bertrand, Guadeloupe. Along with his family he moved to France at the age of 12.

Serge Nubret was featured in the movie Pumping Iron as a last minute entrant to the 1975 Mr. Olympia contest. In the movie, the ’75 Mr Olympia was presented as a battle between Lou Ferrigno and Arnold Schwarzenegger. In reality, in the tall class it was more of a battle between Serge Nubret and Arnold Schwarzenegger, although Schwarzenegger was the clear leader.
